Meet the teachers:

Director/Teacher: Dr. Linda Glenn (Doctor of Ministry in Leadership) is the pastor of the host congregation, Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Medina, and based her doctorate on the establishment of the preschool as a way to serve the community. Not only does Linda take care of the administration duties of CSP, she also teaches and assists the rest of the staff as needed. With nearly 40 years as an ordained minister, Linda has always had a passion for children of all ages and revels in their individual personalities and the myriad of ways they can learn.

Teacher of 2.5- and 3-year-olds: Jackie Bailey with a B.S. in Psychology and emphasis on early childhood development loves working with her children—painting, reading, singing, counting, and playing dress-up, cooking in the ‘kitchen’, and playing the block center. “Children learn through play,” she often says.

Teacher of 4 and 5-year-olds: Dr. Mohana Sundar with her Ph.D. in English Education comes to us all the way from India. Her gentle nature and beautiful smile delight children with her concentrated individual attention whether children are learning to write their names or playing with math link cubes or working a puzzle or playing dress-up or reading a story.

Afternoon Teachers:

Lisa Dickinson, LPN, loves children and often spends her afternoons outside playing with the children. On rainy days she enjoys coming up with craft activities with the children.

Tiffani Reese, former pediatric dental assistant, works closely with Lisa. Tiffani’s bubbly personality immediately engages children as she joins in their play, but there is steel in her soft voice when children become too exuberant in their play and may prove a danger to themselves or others.

Official Floater, doing a little bit of everything: Bettye Pruitte is the first face children meet in the morning, welcoming them with a big smile. She works her “granny” magic with children’s tears and tempers, reads and plays with them inside and out, and especially oversees the children’s garden.
